Led by theatre professionals, PlayXray is designed to prepare your GCSE students with the knowledge they need to excel in their Live Theatre Production Review exam.

Designed specifically to meet the needs of the GCSE drama curriculum, our playXray project includes a trip to the theatre, a full-day workshop and access to a suite of learning resources that cover all key aspects of the exam.

PlayXray projects meet the following curriculum areas:

  • AQA - Understanding Drama: Live Theatre Production
  • Edexcel - Theatre Makers in Practice: Live Theatre Evaluation
  • OCR - Performance & Response: Live Theatre Performance
  • WJEC - Interpreting Theatre: Live Theatre Review

“A fantastic opportunity for the students to really understand and explore the play from the point of view of the actor, the director and the designer - perfect for the new specifications”
