In collaboration with other arts organisations, Mousetrap runs several events each year to enable teachers and young people to find out more about theatre education opportunities in central London.

Training

Mousetrap runs regular professional development training days for drama teachers and theatre practitioners, either led by specialist practitioners, or run in the form of a Skills Exchange to share good practice.

For Teachers in Mainstream schools

• Lighting and sound design
• Costume and set design
• Playwriting
• The business of theatre i.e. marketing and budgeting
  
• Drama in the curriculum for teachers working in Children Support Centres
  

For Theatre Practitioners

• Theatre and drama based work in Children Support Centres
  
• Drama and music in Special Needs schools
• Playwriting
• Drama for visually impaired young people
