Mousetrap provides opportunities for young people with special needs to engage with theatre, both as an audience member and in the classroom.
Through our Theatre Journeys programme, we give special school pupils the chance to experience and explore the best of London's theatre for just £5 a ticket, with workshops that enrich and support the experience.
Theatre Journeys also gives teachers the chance to develop their creative skills, in bespoke after-school CPD, at a time and place convenient to them (e.g. in-school, 3.30 - 5.30)
Envision offers a magical day at a West End theatre production for visually impaired young people. An audio-desribed matinee is supported by a workshop in the morning and a touch-tour where the young people can get up close to props, costume and set.
As part of Kids Week we are offering a FREE drama workshop for young people with special educational needs aged 12-16 in central London on 25 August 11.00am to 1.00pm (a companion per participant welcome).
