Mousetrap Ambassadors Challenge

The Mousetrap Ambassadors Challenge promotes theatre attendance, encourages student involvement, and develops arts leaders through a series of challenges relating to Mousetrap Theatre Projects’ theatrelive4£5 programme.

This extracurricular programme is entirely student led, with guidance from Mousetrap Theatre Projects Staff, in order to support independent theatregoing.

Applications are currently CLOSED for the 18-19 school year. Applications for the 19-20 school year will open in the Summer Term.

Programme Goals:

  • Increase meaningful sign-ups for theatrelive4£5
  • Engage students with Mousetrap’s programmes to increase theatre access
  • Provide leadership opportunities for interested young people

    • Gain public speaking and presentation experience
    • Marketing training and hands-on practice with professionals
    • Develop your leadership skills

    • Networking with other Ambassadors

Plus, every Ambassador will receive a t-shirt, badge and other Mousetrap goodies! 

Who should apply to be a Mousetrap Ambassador?

  • Students aged 15-18
  • Passionate about theatre
  • Interested in growing as leaders

What does a Mousetrap Ambassador do?

  • Completes four challenges over the course of a school year, promoting theatrelive4£5.  Read more about the challenges here 
  • Attends a marketing training meeting in the autumn term and an evaluation/celebration event in the summer term
  • Attends two free theatre trips with Mousetrap

What is theatrelive4£5?

  • An independent theatregoing scheme for state school secondary students aged 15-18, offering £5 ticket deals to top London shows
  • We arrange at least one group outing per month and get lots of extra special offers from other theatres, which we send out in our fortnightly emails
  • Where possible, on our group outings, we arrange a post-show Q&A with the cast and creative team - exclusively for TheatreLive4£5 members!
