Past Relaxed Performances

Mousetrap Theatre Projects has been running Relaxed Performances since 2012, when we ran the first ever relaxed performance in the West End with Shrek The Musical at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Since then we have run relaxed performances with a range of shows, as well as providing consultancy for other shows and venues.

The Lorax, November 2017

Surrounded by Truffula trees, over 170 families met The Lorax who speaks for the trees, in this classic Dr. Seuss story. 

Mamma Mia, November 2016

255 families were transported to Greece to beat the Winter blues with the glorious music of Abba!

Bugsy Malone, August 2016

116 families went to New York for one afternoon to hear the tale of the rise of Bugsy Malone and the battle for power between Fat Sam and Dandy Dan.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, January 2016

431 families attended and cheered with delight when Charlie found his ticket!

The Gruffalo Live On Stage, August 2015

120 families came along to sing, roar and dance with Mouse and the other animals in the Deep Dark Wood. This was the first relaxed performance designed for such a young ages group.

We had a lot of fun down at the River Bank with 133 families attending this very special performance.
