Guide to Day Seats

Many West End shows have a daily ticket offer called Day Seats. These tickets are usually priced £10-£25, depending on which show you are seeing. The seats you get can be located anywhere in the theatre, though it is not uncommon for them to be in the front row.

Day Seats are only available on the day of the performance, and typically released at 10am, or when the box office opens, for example £26 tickets for STOMP! are available at The Ambassadors Theatre from 10am.

They are quite popular, so it is often recommended that you arrive to the theatre at around 9am to ensure that you are close to the front of the queue. If the show is very popular, you may need to arrive at the theatre even earlier!

Not all shows offer day seats, so we recommend that you check online before queuing at a theatre that’s not even selling them. Theatre Monkey has a great list of every show offering day seats, and it is updated frequently with tips and advice on recommended arrival times and more. You can check it out here
