After seeing the show, one sister went on to do Ballet despite her disability, and her confidence and self - esteem grew to such a degree that her motor skills got much better.

I foster for the children's charity TACT. On a personal level I wish to thank you and your team for making so many of the children we have fostered over the years so happy and give you my perspective. Seeing musical theatre has so often been a first time experience for them and often life changing .Often it has given our children confidence in other areas of their lives such as playing a musical instrument , Art , media and their personal life such as overcoming disability , raising self - esteem and doing better at school.

I remember two Sisters that we fostered a few years ago going to see Lord of the Dance.  One had mobility and sight problems. The theatre were so accommodating and made sure we had perfect seats. The excitement on their faces were like that of a child who opens their most treasured Christmas present.

After seeing the show, one sister went on to do Ballet despite her disability, and her confidence and self - esteem grew to such a degree that her motor skills got much better. She had the confidence to go on stage with her ballet and eventually overcame her motor problems.

Her sister joined a local drama group and we watched her self-esteem grow and watched and helped her catch up on four years of school work in nine months. She then did not need a support assistant...her reading improved, her social skills improved and.I am now informed she will be taking her GCSE's in all subjects! Her future has altered enormously and I feel Mousetrap was the start of that journey for both her and her sister... SO THANK YOU!

Thank you for the tickets to take my present foster daughter to see Motown the Musical.. This was the start of us realising that she had a wonderful gift and she loves to sing at every opportunity.

She is now recognised as talented and gifted, won a Local Authority Award for excellence in the Arts and is now also excelling at school. Our foster daughter has performed in front of a large audience of 350 people something that she thought she would never do.

Since seeing Motown she was given the opportunity to see Wicked and Caroline or Change which she loved and enjoyed hearing from the actors after the show of each of their journeys into the profession.  It has made her realise that it is an option for her as a career if she so wishes. She is now part of Drama and Dance at her school and has started to learn keyboard as well as still being a song bird!

On behalf of all my family,

THANK YOU ALL!
