Workshops & Learning Programmes
Our subsidised education programmes are designed to meet the curriculum needs of each school. The projects can be bespoke and tailored to each school setting and the particular needs of the teacher and students. Dynamic and experienced directors, composers, actors, storytellers, designers and producers share their skills and expertise with young people, both in and out of the classroom, demonstrating a broad range of methodologies.
With dozens of plays and musicals across London to choose from, at just £8 a ticket, teachers can be part of a process exploring all aspects of theatre-making, using theatre productions as a creative resource.
PlayXray prepares GCSE students with the knowledge they need to excel in their Live Theatre Production Review exam.

Each year, our Theatre Openers programme takes over 3000 state school students to see top theatre shows for just £8 per ticket! From hit feminist musicals to bold new re-imaginings of Shakespeare classics: we offer a fresh, diverse and relevant programme of shows each term.
We also organise Insight Sessions exclusively for our schools: offering students the chance to meet members of the creative team behind the show and find out more about the specialist skills, passion and hard graft that went into making it.
